Job Overview
As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and the workshop. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that clients receive exceptional service while their vehicles are being maintained or repaired. You will utilise your customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients, providing them with accurate information regarding their vehicle's needs and upselling relevant services.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assess customer needs by listening attentively and asking pertinent questions about their vehicle issues.
- Provide clear explanations of services required and recommend additional services based on mechanical knowledge.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service recommendations in the system.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in cash handling and financial transactions with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
Working hours
- 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday
- 08:30-17:00 Saturday (Every other week)
- Sunday Off
Salary:
- £26k-£32k Depending on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
