Marketing Lead - SEO
Lead the Marketing Charge and Shape the Future of Learning!
My client are on mission to transform education, creating resources that teachers trust and students love. Their work reaches classrooms across the UK and beyond, making learning more engaging, accessible, and inspiring for every child.
The Marketing Lead will be the driving force behind the organisation’s growth story. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, they will take ownership of campaigns across digital, content, SEO, events, and brand. The role is heavily SEO focussed.
You will lead and inspire a small but talented team, champion bold ideas, and ensure the organisation’s message is consistent, creative, and compelling. From boosting organic reach to driving paid campaigns, they will have the freedom to innovate, optimise, and deliver measurable impact.
What You’ll Be Getting Stuck Into:
SEO & Website Management
- Own and optimise SEO performance (on-page, technical, and link-building)
- Drive keyword-led content strategies to boost visibility and engagement
- Lead website updates, ensuring content is fresh, impactful, and user-friendly
- Track, analyse, and report on SEO performance, turning insights into action
- Stay ahead of trends and algorithm updates to keep strategies cutting-edge
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Line-manage and mentor a team of 3, with guidance from the Head of Marketing
- Delegate and balance workloads to hit deadlines and deliver results
- Work closely with sales, product, education, and customer support teams to drive impact
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Partner with the Head of Marketing to shape and deliver integrated campaigns
- Lead content and digital activity that drives launches, events, and growth goals
- Spot new opportunities using customer insights and competitor analysis
As a Marketing Lead you’ll fit right in if you:
- Are an SEO specialist
- Have a proven track record of running digital campaigns that deliver results
- Hands-on experience with PPC and paid media, ideally in e-commerce, SaaS, or EdTech
- Experienced in leading and inspiring a small team
- Data-driven, with strong analytical skills and familiarity with Google Analytics, GA4, and Looker Studio
- Excellent communicator, able to turn complex ideas into compelling campaigns
