Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SeniorSupport Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a young children home care home setting, particularly focusing on senior care. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Dealing with complex young people
- Having experience with SEND
- Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
- Maintain accurate records of residents’ progress and any changes in their condition.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to senior care and IT systems used within the facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or senior care environment is preferred.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for this role.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with residents and colleagues effectively.
- A valid driving licence is required for transporting residents as needed.
- Familiarity with developing care plans and understanding individual needs is beneficial.
