As Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in driving forecast accuracy, aligning supply with commercial demand, and ensuring end-to-end planning efficiency. You will take full ownership of all canned finished goods and raw material planning, working cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Procurement, and NPD teams.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is ready to step into a strategic planning leadership position.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and lead the demand forecasting process for all canned finished goods across multiple brands and channels.
- Analyse historical data, market trends, promotional activity, and customer insights to create accurate demand plans.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to capture and challenge forecast inputs.
- Translate demand plans into material requirements planning (MRP) for raw materials and packaging.
- Maintain planning system inputs and master data integrity (e.g., BOMs, lead times, MOQ).
- Drive monthly S&OP processes, presenting forecast performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor and optimise inventory levels to support customer service and working capital targets.
- Support product launches, changes, and discontinuations from a planning perspective.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in forecasting tools, processes, and reporting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or end-to-end supply chain within FMCG or manufacturing (drinks sector a bonus).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or forecasting tools
- Experience planning both finished goods and raw materials.
- Commercially aware, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and proactively solving problems.
- Energetic, proactive, and highly organised – thrives in a fast-moving environment.
