Job Description
With McDelivery accounting for 20% - 30% of total UK&I volume, we’re continuing our journey of strategic optimisation. As Senior Delivery Partnership Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving this evolution, leading relationships with our key third-party operators (3POs) cross the UK and Ireland: Uber, Just Eat, and Deliveroo.
Reporting to the Delivery Director, you’ll be the central point of contact for our delivery partners championing operational excellence, influencing strategic growth and ensuring our partners deliver outstanding service to our restaurants and customers. This is a high impact role with visibility across the UK&I business and the opportunity to shape one of McDonald’s most dynamic growth areas.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building strong, collaborative partnerships and educating 3POs on McDonald’s operations.
- Co-developing and executing annual Joint Business Plans with each delivery partner.
- Collaborating with Tech to support successful launches and platform enhancements.
- Holding 3POs accountable for courier conduct and experience.
- Influencing partners to expand coverage, extend trading hours, and invest in marketing.
- Leading day-to-day relationships with Uber Eats, Just Eat, and Deliveroo.
- Managing and developing a direct report, fostering growth and capability.
- Monitoring and challenging performance against SLAs to ensure gold-standard delivery.
- Partnering with internal teams including Field Services, McOpCo, National Ops, Marketing, and Global markets.
- Representing McDonald’s externally and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need:
- Deep understanding of McDonald’s business, ideally with experience in Operations, Field Services, or Delivery.
- Strong vendor/supplier management experience, preferably with third party operators (3POs) or within the quick service restaurant (QSR) sector.
- Experience working with Franchisee business owners is a plus.
- Strong influencing and relationship building skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Strategic thinking and sound decision making, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Proven negotiation, planning, and performance analysis capabilities.
- Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders and representing the brand externally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
