Pay rate
Per hour: £14.86 per hour
Weekly Hours Average 08.00-20.00Hrs 42 hour per week on a 3 on 3 off basis over a 6-week Rota
Durham Gate located in Spennymoor is recruiting for a brilliantly organized team player to join us as the Senior care assistant Days. We are looking for exceptionally caring people to join us.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Always present a compassionate and professional image.
- If you have an NVQ 3 or hold level 2 and working toward 3 and experience of being a Senior care assistant or acting senior care assistant looking for the next step, and feel you have the skills to lead a great team.
- You are kind, warm, and compassionate person and can- do attitude.
- Experience of managing medication and able to liaise with health professionals.
-Able to supervise staff team and deal with an emergency appropriately.
- Someone who aligned to our values, committed to highest standards of care and compliant with CQC regulation.
- Have the ability to plan and prioritize workloads with an eye for details.
- Senior carer role requires someone who has excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize, focus and has sense of responsibility and can remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility requires for this role, an individual who will go above and beyond for our residents and their families.
- Able to work with health professionals and all other stakeholders.
-Handle enquiries, ‘show arounds’, visitors, and resident and relative requests.
- Able to lead by example, from positive relationships and energize colleagues to deliver exceptional care.
- Have excellent verbal/written/IT communication skills.
