We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Specialist to join our tuition centre team. The ideal candidate will provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they access high-quality, inclusive teaching and make meaningful progress in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the individual needs of students with SEN and develop personalised learning plans.
- Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition sessions tailored to students with a variety of learning difficulties, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with subject tutors to adapt resources and teaching strategies to suit the learning needs of SEN students.
- Monitor and record progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, and the Centre Manager.
- Liaise with external professionals (e.g., Educational Psychologists, Speech Therapists) where necessary.
- Contribute to the development of SEN policies and ensure the centre complies with relevant safeguarding and SEN regulations.
- Provide advice, guidance, and training to teaching staff on effective SEN practices.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
