KENSINGTON CARE is seeking experienced and compassionate SELF-EMPLOYED LIVE IN CARERS to join our Central London team.
What you'll do as a Live in Carer:
You will provide companionship and assistance to our clients . The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring additional support at their own home, where you will be responsible for delivering personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Implement care plans designed to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring compliance with medical guidelines.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress, adhering to medical terminology standards.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including scorting clients to appointments or social events.
- Support individuals with dementia care, employing techniques that promote safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in case management to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in both home care and care home settings.

Skills
- Proficient understanding of care plans and patient care practices.
- Experience in medication administration and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Knowledge of senior care principles, particularly in relation to dementia care.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact compassionately with clients and their families.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £1,260.00 per week
Expected hours: 24 – 70 per week
