Purpose:
Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant – with Key Holder responsibilities, to join the team in our Bournemouth store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.61 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants / Key Holders, play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part time, permanent position and you will be contracted to work 16 hours per week.

You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, the stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.

As a Key Holder you will be a trustworthy individual, responsible for the following key activities.

Key activities:
  • Open & close the store as and when required.
  • Being responsible for a set of store keys.
  • Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
  • Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
  • Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
  • Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
  • Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
  • Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.

  • Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
  • The drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
  • Methodical approach to completing daily tasks – including stock SKU management.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • The ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team.
  • The commitment to work 16 hours per week and the flexibility to work any day (Monday - Sunday).

Salary/Pay:
up to £12.61 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.
