Role Overview
As our Sales Assistant, you’ll spend the majority of your day on the telephone, building friendly relationships with estate-agent teams, residential landlords and tenants. Your job is to turn warm and inbound enquiries into confirmed bookings, keep our CRM (Odoo) spotless, and make sure every caller hangs up feeling confident that Proactive Cleaners is the right choice.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound & Warm Lead Handling
- Answer calls and emails from estate-agent partners and private clients.
- Ask the right questions to scope each job (property size, access, timescales).
- Explain our cleaning packages, prices and availability with energy and clarity.
Booking & Scheduling
- Convert enquiries into bookings on the spot where possible.
- Reserve teams and time slots in line with client requirements and our capacity plan.
- Issue confirmations, take deposits/payments, and send pre-clean instructions.
Pipeline & Follow Up
- Call or email warm leads that haven’t yet booked to maximise conversion.
- Reactivate lapsed estate-agent accounts with courtesy check-ins and offers.
CRM & Admin Accuracy
- Log every conversation, quote and booking in Odoo immediately.
- Keep contact details, property notes and status tags fully up-to-date for the sales team.
Service Liaison
- Work with the operations scheduler to match cleans with the right crew.
- Flag special requirements (pets, key collection, waste removal) so jobs run smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Confident, extroverted communicator – you love the phone and can brighten a client’s day in the first 10 seconds.
- Experience in a sales, lettings, call-centre or admin role where targets and customer satisfaction mattered.
- Organised & detail-driven – can juggle multiple enquiries, quotes and follow-ups without dropping the ball.
- IT-comfortable – quick to learn CRM/booking software (we use Odoo) and competent with MS Office/Teams.
- Positive problem-solver – you see objections as opportunities and stay calm under pressure.
- Team player – happy to share wins, swap ideas and support colleagues in a growing business.
