We’re looking for a Commercial Analyst to partner with our commercial teams and senior leadership to turn data into actionable insight, and insight into measurable revenue growth. Working closely with the CRO and their leadership team, you’ll use your analytical skills to uncover trends, challenge assumptions, and guide decision-making on where to focus time and resources for maximum impact.
What you’ll do
- Turn data into decisions
- Analyse sales, marketing, and customer data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across key SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, pipeline velocity, win rate, etc.).
- Translate dashboards and reports into actionable recommendations for commercial leaders.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure insights lead to measurable business outcomes.
- Drive customer growth and whitespace strategy
- Assess current customer product usage to pinpoint upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop whitespace maps to visualise adoption gaps and build targeted account opportunity profiles.
- Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success to prioritise expansion opportunities using data-driven criteria.
- Recommend segmentation and targeting strategies to improve expansion campaign performance.
- Support the creation of playbooks and enablement materials informed by product penetration and whitespace data.
- Support operational excellence
- Partner with the Revenue Operations Director on budget modelling, commission tracking, board reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Identify data quality issues and propose solutions to improve accuracy and reliability.
- Work across multiple business systems (CRM, ERP, marketing automation) to streamline reporting processes.
What you’ll bring
- Strong analytical mindset with a commercial orientation — you go beyond “what happened” to “so what, now what?”.
- Power BI expertise, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, or business systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, etc.).
- Proven ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Results-driven, curious, and proactive, with a focus on continuous improvement.
