Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant/Café Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our vibrant establishment. Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure efficient operation.
- Implement and uphold food safety regulations, ensuring compliance with health codes.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimise food production and presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Experience
- Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
- Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
