Lasting Threads Care is a family run organisation currently in the process of opening our third home.
We have induction face to face training and team building planned for the week commencing 04.08.2025.
Duties:
- Provide support and nurture to children in a residential setting
- To ensure children are effectively safeguarded at all times
- Support the team to maintain high quality, consistent care for children
- Assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills
- Plan and participate in recreational activities and outings
- Document and report on individual progress and any incidents or concerns
- Collaborate with the team around the child to ensure good outcomes for the children in placement
Qualifications:
- (Desirable) Relevant Qualification or working towards (Level 3 or 4 CYP or residential pathway)
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
