Overview
Team Support are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Removals Packers to join our removals workforce. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for transport. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to handle heavy lifting. The Packer will work alongside other packers and removals workers.
Responsibilities
- Assessing items:Evaluating the quantity and type of items to be packed, including fragile or sentimental items.
- Material selection:Choosing the right packing materials like boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, and tape.
- Secure packing:Wrapping items carefully to prevent damage during transport, potentially using specialized techniques for delicate items.
- Furniture disassembly/reassembly:Taking apart large furniture items for easier transport and reassembling them at the new location.
- Inventory: Creating a list of packed items, labelling boxes, and potentially documenting items for international shipping
Experience
- Previous experience as a removals packer is key
- Knowledge of quality control procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
