About our Nursery


Busy Bees Peterborough Deeping St James is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 50 children, located in the heart of Market Deeping. Housed in a charming Grade II cottage, the nursery offers a cosy "home away from home" atmosphere, providing a nurturing environment for your child's early years. The nursery features a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to keep children engaged and excited about learning. Conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from Peterborough via the A15, the nursery also offers easy access via public transport, with a bus stop only a 3-minute walk away. Free parking is available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and delivering educational activities for children.
  • Support the team in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Help children develop socially, emotionally, and physically through engaging play-based learning.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of all children is maintained.
Ideal Candidate
  • No formal qualifications required, although prior experience in early years settings is beneficial.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
