Busy Bees is seeking a Regional Relief Nursery Practitioner to provide support across six of our centres in the Norfolk/Norwich area. Whether you're a university student looking for summer work, someone with experience in childcare, or simply looking to pick up extra hours, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

You don’t need to be qualified to apply – we welcome applicants with no qualifications, as well as those with a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare.

The hourly rate ranges from £12.30 to £12.57, depending on your qualifications, and travel costs are reimbursed. You'll gain valuable experience across a variety of settings while being part of a friendly and supportive team.

Role Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and delivering educational activities for children.
  • Support the team in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Help children develop socially, emotionally, and physically through engaging play-based learning.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of all children is maintained.
Required Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate
  • No formal qualifications are required, although a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare is beneficial. Prior experience in early years settings is also an advantage.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
  • Holds a valid UK driving licence and is comfortable travelling between centres across Norfolk and Norwich.
