Role: Recruitment Lead
Location: Remote – Home Based
Hours: 35 Hours. 9am – 5pm
Pay: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
As the Recruitment Lead, you will recruit and on-board a pipeline of new starters to ensure schemes across Care & Housing have sufficient staff to meet the needs of their residents, in line with staffing and budgetary requirements.
The Role of Recruitment Lead
- Ensure a sufficient pipeline of new starters to fill vacancies up to budgeted hours per role.
- Support and prioritise services with high agency spend through all available recruitment resources.
- Cost per hire is minimised by ensuring spend on local and social media advertising and sponsored job adverts are effectively managed and optimised.
- All available methods of local employer brand marketing, advertising and promotion are utilised, so that our schemes are a local employer of choice in the care and housing sector.
- The Ceridian Dayforce Recruitment Module (ATS) is used effectively to minimise time to hire.
- New recruits are onboarded effectively, with all pre-employment checks administered thoroughly to ensure regulatory (CQC) and process compliance. The team works collaboratively with the People Support Team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for candidates.
- Insights from recruitment KPIs, and from exit interviews are utilised to inform proactive staff retention activity.
- Proactively us alternative sources of recruitment e.g. recruitment hiring events, engaging with our apprenticeship provider and welfare to work providers.

- Demonstrable experience as an in-house or agency recruiter, managing multiple end to end recruitment campaigns and on-boarding large volumes of successful hires simultaneously.
- Able to build a strong employer brand in the local community; good working knowledge of innovative local and national sourcing methods.
- Proactive, highly organised and methodical, and able to prioritise own work.
- Can demonstrate effective ways to ensure candidate quality, whilst minimising time and cost to hire.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong influencer, and able to build productive working relationships both internally and externally.
- Recruitment experience within the Health and Social Care Sector
