Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our afternoon team.
The hours are Tuesday to Friday 13:00 to 18:15, totalling 21 hours a week.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a range of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel with excellent phone etiquette
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Handle administrative duties including sending and receiving emails filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Support team members with clerical tasks to ensure smooth office operations
Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an office setting
- A professional demeanour with strong communication skills
