Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and grow. You will be responsible for supporting the development of children in your care while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team environment that promotes best practices in childcare.
- Provide leadership and management support as needed, guiding less experienced staff members in their roles.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
- A qualification in early childhood education or childcare is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, showcasing management skills within a team environment.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or visits.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
