Pupil Support Assistant
31.25 Hours per week. 5 days. Term Time Only.
The post is fixed until July 2026 (Contract could be extended subject to funding)
Band 5, New NJC Points 5-6. TTO salary £17,545 - £17,823 depending on experience. (Pay award Apr 25 to be applied, once confirmed and will be backdated)
Commencing: September 2025.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed person to join our Learning Support team, working 1:1 with one of our Reception children whose primary need is Communication and Interaction, but also has significant physical and medical needs.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has enthusiasm, and is committed to our vision of being a fully inclusive school.
- Has experience of or is willing to support pupils with medical and physical needs.
- Is able to implement specialist advice and guidance and work with accuracy.
- Can support class teachers in delivering an appropriately differentiated creative curriculum that supports the individual needs of the child
- Is able to work effectively as part of a team and operate under the instruction of the school’s SENDco
