Are you an experienced leader with a passion for food production, quality control, and people management? We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee our intake and production teams while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and factory hygiene are consistently met.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in supervising multi-disciplinary teams in a food production or packhouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and quality control systems.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work and problem-solving.
- Committed to high standards of timekeeping, attendance, and health & safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate intake and production staff effectively.
- Maintain stock control of pallets and packaging materials.
- Ensure strict compliance with food quality and safety systems.
- Oversee and maintain factory hygiene across the packhouse floor.
- Support the QA Manager during Company Quality Audits and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Participate in company meetings, audits, and training sessions.
- Drive the implementation of new procedures and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with the HR department to uphold HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure logistics deadlines are consistently met.
- Enforce disciplinary standards relating to health and safety, timekeeping, and performance.
- Promote a positive team culture and high staff morale.
- Seek opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising quality.
- Adhere to all company health, safety, and attendance policies.
- Assist other departments as required, promoting a collaborative team environment.
