Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Scheduler to join our team in the aerospace manufacturing sector. This role is crucial for optimizing production schedules and ensuring timely delivery of components, directly contributing to our mission of excellence in aerospace engineering. The role will involve full support to the Production team and customer face team. This position requires a self-motivated individual that has the ability to work well under pressure and capable of achieving deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orderbooks.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment on production goals.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Update Orderbooks
- Amend system and change dates on works orders.
- Print works orders
- File, scanning and maintain paperwork.
- Support production leaders with paper work when needed
- Be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks related to production, administration and overall warehouse operations.
- Utilize ERP systems to track production metrics and optimize workflows.
- Collaborate with sub-contractors to get products back on time.
- Communicate effectively with team regarding changes and updates.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the production process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Production Scheduler or in a similar role within manufacturing.
- Factory Master experience preferred , other ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft office and good computer literacy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
