Todds of Kendal is a rapidly growing quality meat wholesaler based in the centre of Kendal.
We are looking for a full time Production Operative working Monday-Friday. Full time is based on around 40 hours a week, but could be flexible for the right candidate. Salary will vary depending on experience.
Previous experience is essential and a good meat knowledge is preferable, with a basic knowledge of food Hygiene. Working in a small team we would ask you had good time management alongside a good work ethic. Working with raw products in a fast moving business the importance of being adaptable with good problem solving skills is vital.
General day to day duties would include:
- Food Handling
- Food Processing
- Stock Management
- Cleaning
- Other general warehouse duties
- Forklift Operator (license Preferable/not essential)
A physically demanding job the right candidate must be able to lift 25-30kg and move heavy pallets around fridges.
