Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production, warehousing and / or dispatch activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
This role will be working Monday to Friday based around the standard working week.
Responsibilities
- Use of filling equipment for ink.
- Packaging of ink products.
- Cleaning machinery.
- Using equipment / machinery / instruments safely and effectively within set requirements and procedures to meet area targets.
- Ability to operate batch processing machinery. Maintains a high level of housekeeping in working area.
- Goods inwards
- Picking/packing goods for outbound deliveries
- Picking goods for production consumption

Key Requirements:
Experience:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
Skills:
- Basic production knowledge or hands-on ability.
- Ability to work across various areas in the factory – this is not a static production line role.
- Comfortable using different equipment such as blenders, dispensers, lifting aids, and loading materials.
Attributes:
- Must be proactive, switched-on, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Good physical fitness – the role involves movement around the site and handling materials.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
Desirable (but not essential):
- Forklift experience or license
