We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to providing first-class customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle, and ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle, ensuring it is roadworthy and in excellent condition.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service by communicating clearly and assisting passengers with their needs throughout the journey.
- Navigate efficiently using knowledge of local routes and traffic conditions, avoiding delays where possible.
- Adhere to all road traffic laws, regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately and securely.
Skills & Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and appropriate taxi driver badge/licence
- Excellent communication skills and a polite, professional manner.
- Good working knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and the use of GPS systems.
- Strong focus on customer service and passenger safety.
- Confidence in handling both cash and electronic payments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
