The nature of this role means that it is office-based and is not deemed suitable for Remote Working for reasons of regulatory oversight; number and complexity of systems used in the role; on-site IT/systems support in the office; and importance of quick and effective communication with both co-workers (traders/sales/support functions) and with clients.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Facilitation of client trading flow, including making quotes, taking and executing orders, post-trade entry into internal systems, client confirmations, trade amendments, transaction reporting
  • Assisting with all aspects of pre- and post-execution trade life-cycle management, including credit checks, trade amendments, and close liaison with trade support and operations teams.
  • Participation in daily London precious metals auction processes
  • Proactive client relationship management, anticipating and providing solutions to their problems/needs
  • Identifying and converting strategic sales targets / opportunities
  • Close collaboration with global precious metals trading and sales
  • Leveraging the bank's eTrading initiatives
  • Marketing/cross-selling across base and precious metals, energy, and FIC product set as appropriate
  • Contribute to client due diligence and credit reviews, credit applications, and transaction approval forums.
