Job Summary: The Powder Coating Supervisor will be expected to coordinate and oversee the activities of the Plant, Employees and Operations in an efficient manner to achieve the desired quality and quantity of work keeping all staff on task.
Lead and direct the Powder Coating department in continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Monitor plant personnel to assure compliance with company policies, rules, regulations, and procedures, and takes corrective action when required
· Monitor quality of finished products to meet customer specifications and corrects problems as needed.
· Communicate any job run discrepancies with the Production Manager.
· Maintain thorough knowledge of all production processes and equipment.
· Monitor functions of production equipment for proper operation ensuring proper maintenance and care.
· Provide creative ways to improve productivity by line density, hanging & orientation, and packing safely off the lines.
· Assist the Production Manager in coordinating plant maintenance and ensure all maintenance programs are completed.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
· Assure all staff are logging in to correct paperwork via Kiosk for all operations
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
· 3+ years’ powder coating experience preferred with a manufacturing background, hand spraying and auto reciprocator experience essential
· Above average understanding of powder coating process, equipment, and operation
· Ability to make production decisions and bring innovative ideas for continual process improvement
· Ability to direct and lead the team to complete work with exceptional quality and efficiency
· Excellent work initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks
· Proven leadership experience
· Ability to prioritize by managing multiple tasks
· Accuracy with attention to detail

Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday. 8am – 16.30
Friday. 8am – 15.30
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
