About the role
We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Heat Exchanger and Thermal System Aerothermal Research at the Oxford Thermofluids Institute which is part of the Department of Engineering Science. The post is funded for a 2-year fixed term.
You will be actively involved in developing and running experimental facilities at the Oxford Thermofluids Institute. Concurrently, you will develop lower order analytical models and perform high fidelity computational simulations to corroborate experimental findings and propose other configurations to be subsequently experimentally investigated.
About you
You should possess a PhD or DPhil (or be near completion of) in the field of engineering, physics or applied mathematics together with relevant experience in the field of thermofluids. You should also have excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication.
