We are seeking a skilled Plumber's Mate to join our team. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out plumbing tasks.
- Perform welding as needed for pipe fittings and connections.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or required repairs.
- Assemble and install various plumbing components according to specifications.
- Apply basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects.
- Engage in carpentry work when necessary to support plumbing installations.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment safely as required during installations or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport tools and materials to job sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumber with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to perform carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations.
- Capability of heavy lifting as needed for various tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
