Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our growing property maintenance team. Operating across Kent and East Sussex, the successful candidate will carry out a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties, including works related to block management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting general maintenance, repairs, and small refurbishments across a portfolio of properties.
- Carrying out basic plumbing works, including repairs and fixings to kitchens and bathrooms suites.
- Attending to reactive repairs, both emergency and scheduled
- Carrying out planned maintenance tasks including decorating, carpentry, tiling, plastering, flooring, and general building repairs.
- Performing block management works including communal area maintenance, external repairs, minor/major roofing work, and drainage issues.
- Reporting findings and completion of works .
- Ensuring all works are completed in compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards.
- Communicating effectively with property managers, tenants, and contractors.
- Representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a multi-trade role, ideally within property or block maintenance.
- Competence in at least two core trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting & decorating, or basic electrical work.
- Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues independently.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Full UK driving licence (Essential).
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Basic IT proficiency (for job reporting and communication).
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in one or more trades.
- Previous experience working with residential letting agents, housing associations, or property management companies.
- Awareness of H&S regulations and risk assessments.
