Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of piping systems for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with excavators and welding, ensuring that all piping is laid accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of piping systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to dig trenches for pipe installation.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and join pipes.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of installed piping to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues related to piping systems, providing solutions as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with electrical systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and operating excavators.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
