Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Picker/Loader to join our team in Epping.
The Role
We have a vacancy for a full time Picker/Loader in our Epping Branch. As a member of our yard team you will be responsible for the day to day running of the yard under the Team Leader and Transport Manager.
To handle and maintain yard stocks, loading and unloading both customer, supplier and company delivery vehicles. Serving customers, advising on stock, availability and product ranges.
To ensure the premises are kept to a high standard to comply with Health & Safety regulations, maintaining a clean and tidy yard and working area.
The Requirements
- Builders merchants experience advantageous
- Timber experience
- Forklift truck license preferable although training can be provided
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Strong team player who works as part of a team and independently
The Hours
Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00
