We are seeking a dedicated and organised Counter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service while assisting in medication administration and supporting patient care. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries at the counter.
- Provide information regarding medications, including usage, side effects, and storage instructions.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that all medications and supplies are properly stocked and displayed.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy assistant is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computer systems for processing transactions and maintaining records.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the business needs.
