People Services Case Coordinator - Digital

Who We Are
As NHS Scotland's unique provider of a national tele-health and tele-care service, we are responsible for the delivery of health advice and information by telephone and online services to the population of Scotland 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. NHS 24 is a patient-focused service providing the people of Scotland with triage, advice, guidance, referral and information on health and healthcare services.
We have six regional centres – Aberdeen, Dundee, South Queensferry, Hillington, Cardonald and Clydebank. NHS 24 supports hybrid working, and this post can be based within any NHS 24 regional centres. The successful candidate must be within commuting distance to a regional centre to attend if required and must also be able to travel to other regional centres when requested to attend meetings, undertake training and any other activities.
The Role
The successful candidate will lead the creation of clear, engaging digital content for staff—translating HR policies, creating Microsoft forms, FAQs, and updates into accessible, creative formats. They will ensure communications are current, relevant, and aligned with staff needs, using digital tools to improve understanding and engagement across the organisation. The successful candidate will additionally support HR case management support to the People Services Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Standardise and automate People Services administrative processes to improve the efficiency and quality of service, creating capacity.
- Collaborate with Data and Digital leads within Workforce to explore and implement digital tools, including electronic forms and automated workflows, to enhance the delivery of People Service functions
- Promote a digital first culture across the organisation, encouraging employees and managers to embrace new technologies.
- Develop and embed digital HR solutions that improve case management end to end process maintaining consistency and improving timescales and completion of documentation and that it is received within agreed timescales by People Services Business Partners, Directors and managers.
- Continue to explore and seek digital solutions for formal meeting notes and accurate record keeping for all case types and policy processes.
Successful Applicant will:
- Hold a certificate in Personnel Practice, HND or equivalent experience and Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
- Demonstrate proficient digital skills across all Microsoft Packages and the ability to utilities this to improve current operational processes.
- Demonstrate administration experience within an HR Department and knowledge of administrative and HR procedures.
- Have the Ability to work autonomously or as a fully supportive and integrated team player contributing to effective performance in achieving strategic goals for the department.
- Be able to communicate and influence verbally and in writing with a variety of individuals with differing levels of understanding.
- Maintain good time management skills and have a flexible approach and attitude to work.
Benefits
NHS 24 offers a complete benefits package, with a permanent contract on Band 4 with a salary ranging from £30,353 to £33,016 Per Annum (pro rata if applicable). Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service.
