We are looking for a proactive People Advisor to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for employee relations and HR queries, supporting the full employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in cultivating a positive workplace culture, providing expert advice to managers and employees, and ensuring HR policies and practices are applied fairly and consistently.
Responsibilities (key tasks and requirements of the role)
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle for all team members across InfoTrack and Perfect Portal.
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Manage the shared People Team inbox collaboratively with the People Coordinator, providing timely and accurate support.
- Review and update internal policies regularly in line with government legislation, regulatory changes, and company developments.
- Compile and report monthly People data metrics.
- Ensure the HRIS (bob) is consistently updated and maintained with accurate employee data.
- Conduct monthly check-ins with employees on maternity leave, supporting their transition and engagement.
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant records of right-to-work documentation and other employment paperwork.
- Monitor and follow up on missing or expired documentation such as right-to-work verification, payroll documents, and fit notes.
- Gather and analyse data from quarterly iPerform reviews, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations.
- Assist as and when required with the monthly payroll processing
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion in all HR matters.
