Location: Community-based in Sutton Borough (with occasional office/home working)
Hours: 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,334 - £26,790 pro rata (£11,584 - £12,246 actual), depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Reports to: Transformation IPS Project Manager

About the Role

Are you passionate about mental health and using your lived experience to support others? We’re looking for a Transformation Project Peer Support Worker to join our dedicated team working alongside the South West London & St. George’s Mental Health Trust Recovery and Support Teams.

In this role, you’ll provide Intentional Peer Support (IPS) to adults in the community—both one-to-one and in group settings. You’ll help build safe, trusting relationships based on mutuality, shared experience, and non-judgemental listening.

About You

We’re looking for someone with lived experience of mental health challenges or experience supporting others with theirs. You’ll be a compassionate listener, a strong communicator, and someone who values collaboration and co-learning. Knowledge or experience of Intentional Peer Support techniques is desirable (training can be provided).
