Hey everyone! James here from Roots Allotments
We’re looking for a few extra pairs of hands, to help us part time (freelance) from July to September to help build more patches on our allotment site in Chelmsford. You’ll be laying cardboard and spreading compost to form the growing areas — it’s hands-on, outdoors, and satisfying work. We’ll have a digger and telehandler on site to handle the heavy stuff, but it’s still physical work, so come prepared to get stuck in.
Pay: £12.50/hr (includes a 30-minute paid lunch break)
Location: Galleywood Meadow, Roots Allotments Site, Lower Grn, Galleywood, Chelmsford, CM2 8QS
