Overview
Busy 124 bedroom hotel in Grange over Sands is seeking a part time night porter.
Working 3 shifts per week the hours are 11pm until 7am.This is on a rota basis you will work 3 shifts on and then 4 off.
Duties
- Check all fire exits are closed and clear and carry out walk rounds during the night
- Check in any late arrivals and check out any early departures
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and entrances, ensuring a tidy environment at all times.
- Hoover main lounge and wipe tables
- Answer any calls from guest bedrooms and answer external calls
- Hand over with duty manager at 11pm and 7am
- On busy function nights there will be a second porter on to assist with the tidying up after functions
Experience
Full training will be given on the role however previous experience of a similar role or night work would be a distinct advantage
Good communication skills are required
The ability to work as a sole worker is essential
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00 per hour
