Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an understanding of hotel operations.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
- A friendly disposition with good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and procedures is essential.
