Il Trillo, Chelsea’s much-loved fine dining Italian restaurant is seeking an experienced and personable Commis Waiter/Runner to join it’s friendly front-of-house team. Working between 15-20 hours across four to three to four days per week, with a wage of £13.00 per hour (however more hours/shifts will potentially be available if wanted).
The majority of shifts will be in the evening (averaging 5 hours from 6.30pm/7:30pm onwards), with the evening shifts on Friday and Saturday nights set in stone for this position, and the other one to two shifts on weeknights will be scheduled according to the bookings in the weekly rota.To confirm, the restaurant is always closed on Mondays, open for dinner Tuesday to Sunday, and only open for lunch on Saturday and Sundays
As Commis Waiter/Runner you will work alongside the floor team supporting the restaurant service by resetting tables, preparing crockery and cutlery, folding napkins, running food from the kitchen to tables, running drinks from the bar to tables as well as assisting with the closure (closing includes some light cleaning and bringing in chairs and tables from the front of the restaurant).
We're seeking an individual with a good command of English, who thrives when working in a busy environment with a buzzing atmosphere where high quality food and fine wines are served, and who boasts outstanding customer service and attention to detail.

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 6.30pm to 11.30pm
Thursday: 6.30pm to 11.30pm
Friday: 7.30pm to 12.30am
Saturday: 7.30pm to 12.30am
Sunday: Off

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE...
- Minimum of six months previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced restaurant
- The ability to deliver high standards and work under pressure
- Confident, professional and welcoming personality
- Great communication and organising skills
- Previous experience of waiting tables / running food
- The ability to work closely with the management team and be a team player
- Outstanding standards of personal presentation, hygiene and grooming
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about their job
- Be willing to work four to three to four days a week, averaging 15 to 20 hours
- Be willing to work evening shifts and weekends, finishing between 12:30am and 1am
- Have the right to work in the UK
- A good command of spoken English (Italian language is a plus)
As an FYI - we have a set summer closure for staff holiday. We will be closed for 10 days across the last two weeks of August.
