Responsibilities
Working inside a paint facility, this role will be working as part of newly formed team; pre-treating and painting large components to meet detailed customer’s specifications.
Duties include:
- Preparing work to extremely high standards
- Working to specific production schedules
- Completing all administrative procedures relating to paint area
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Adhering to COSHH and DSEAR regulations
- Attending meetings as and when needed
- Any other ad hoc duties as may be required within the production environment
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Previous experience using conventional and pressure pot application equipment
- Application, masking, prepping and polishing to a high standard
- Experience of using 2 pack solvent and waterborne paint is essential
- Be fully conversant in both written and verbal English
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and masking instructions
- Ideally has a background in rail/ car finishing industry
