Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within our office premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept tidy, organised, and welcoming for both employees and visitors. This role is crucial in creating a pleasant working environment and requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise office spaces, including desks, meeting rooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, ensuring all areas are free from dirt and debris.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in cleanliness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a team player when required.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting or moving items as necessary.
