This job is a trainee apprenticeship you will be required to undertake a svq level 3 and the hourly rate of pay is £7:55 until qualified .
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Trainee to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing environment. The Nursery Trainee will assist in providing high-quality care and education to children, supporting their development through engaging activities and interactions.
Duties
- Assist in the daily care of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a positive nursery environment.
- Help manage classroom behaviour by applying effective strategies to encourage positive interactions.
- Participate in maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery space.
- Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with senior staff as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere for both children and families.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in early childhood education and childcare.
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to drive is preferred for transportation purposes related to nursery activities.
- Leadership qualities that demonstrate the ability to manage small groups of children effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic team environment.
- A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere for all children.
