Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in the nursery setting.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that meets health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of EYFS principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and colleagues.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring high-quality childcare.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is a must
- A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to drive children's learning through play-based activities.
- Capability to adapt to changing situations while maintaining professionalism.
