Based in central London, Big Sky comprises 15 studios and stages, spanning 75,000 sq ft over 5 different sites offering traditional white coves, green screens, blank canvases, virtual production suites with green screen and LED walls alongside a unique rooftop studio with undisturbed London Skyline views. To enable our spaces, we offer in-house services of lighting, digital, catering, set-build and post production, alongside a full service ecom and social content agency.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This position requires a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team of in-house cleaners across our
various studios in north London. In this role, you will mop, vacuum, and sweep floors, dust and sanitise surfaces, clean windows, restock bathrooms, perform janitorial services, and do extra duties as requested. You will document and report on your activities, maintain stock, and follow health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience, knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals, have high integrity, and pride themselves on their reliability.
KEY DUTIES:
- Maintaining cleaning products and advising of low supplies when necessary
- Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning
- Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and compliance with universal precautions.
- Cleaning floors, windows, and work surfaces
- Cleaning bathrooms and restocking supplies
- Cleaning the studio spaces to high standards
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and tools
- Emptying & taking out rubbish bins
- Reporting to management and working within a team
- Maintaining high health and safety standards
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience as a cleaner
- Familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment
- Able to work unsupervised
- Trustworthy with a professional manner
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Able to multitask and stick to schedules
