Flexibility towards shifts is required.
Shifts start from 8pm-8am.,
36+ hours a week over seven days. Alternate weekends. Experience not essential, full training will be given and chance to do diplomas.
We are a family run home with up to 27 bedrooms.

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes or care facilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is crucial in supporting clients with daily living activities and promoting their independence while adhering to personalised care plans.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in social and recreational activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans as necessary.
- Assist with medication management under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to home care practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is beneficial.
- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately will be an asset.
