We are seeking experienced traffic management professionals to join our team in delivering temporary traffic control solutions across various projects. These include working with local authorities, event organisers, and sports venues. Your responsibilities will consist of the installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic management schemes, all while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards.
Please note: This position is based in London. Applicants must have reliable transportation, as company-provided vehicles for thedaily commute are not available.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of traffic control, including setting up and removing relevant signage, cones and implementing road or lane closures and diversions.
Ensure all work activities comply with safety protocols and industry best practices.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and prepare method statements related to traffic management tasks.
Follow established procedures to guarantee consistent quality and safety during all operations.
Perform daily vehicle inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of equipment.
Uphold a professional appearance and positive image by wearing company attire and maintaining site cleanliness.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
Assist the public by providing clear guidance and ensuring safe passage through work zones when necessary.
Recognise situations requiring managerial input and escalate appropriately.
Comply with relevant industry standards and legal regulations, such as TSRGD and Chapter 8 guidelines.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Valid UK driving license (up to 3.5 tonnes) with no more than six penalty points.
Proficiency in reading and writing English.
Ability to interpret traffic management plans and drawings.
Physically fit to lift, move, and maintain traffic management equipment.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrates a high level of care for equipment and tools under your responsibility.
