Job Overview
- To ensure the accurate and efficient mixing of dry blend materials in accordance with production schedules, safety standards, and quality control requirements.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify deliveries of raw materials, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with quality standards.
- Accurately document the usage of raw materials in the production process.
- Conduct routine testing of raw materials and blended products, recording all results in line with quality control procedures.
- Load raw materials into appropriate bins and silos, maintaining accurate stock rotation and handling protocols.
- Monitor the operation of the mixing plant to ensure continuous, safe, and effective performance.
- Perform regular quality checks on dry blend materials, maintaining detailed and accurate records.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment through consistent housekeeping practices.
- Promptly report any equipment breakdowns, material leakages, or other operational issues to the Mixing Plant Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally within a mixing or blending operation.
- Familiarity with raw material handling, testing procedures, and production documentation is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
