Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Summariser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and summarising medical records and documentation to ensure accurate and efficient communication of patient information. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in various software applications. The Medical Summariser will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals by providing concise summaries that aid in decision-making processes.
Duties
- Review and analyse medical records to extract relevant information.
- Summarise patient histories, treatments, and outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilise Microsoft Excel and other software tools to organise data effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accuracy of summaries.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information in compliance with regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries related to medical documentation
- Stay updated on medical terminology and practices to enhance summarisation accuracy.
Requirements
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex medical information accurately.
- Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare environment is preferred but not essential.
- A background in IT or related fields would be advantageous.
