We’re From The Hip – a video and photo production company with a gorgeous barn and garden for a studio. We are currently growing year on year with a focus around our client’s experience and delivering honest but high quality video and photography services.
We are looking for a marketing professional who has a creative edge , is very driven and who wants to make a big difference and take ownership of the marketing function in our business.
The Role
You’ll own the day-to-day delivery of our marketing plan. So, running campaigns, creating content, managing social channels, and making sure leads move smoothly through our funnel. You will work closely with the directors to ensure our voice is consistent, our content is fresh, and our calendar is full of activity that drives meetings. This is a hands-on role with a mix of execution, coordination and light creative work.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management
- Deliver and optimise our 12-month marketing funnel, including Top, Middle, and Bottom of Funnel activities.
- Schedule and manage email campaigns (welcome series, nurture sequences, re-engagement flows).
- Develop and run LinkedIn organic and paid campaigns, including retargeting and A/B testing.
- Manage lead magnets, including PDF Value giveaways, landing pages, downloads, and follow-up flows.
Content Creation & Publishing
- Write and post LinkedIn content (2 posts per week), ensuring alignment with our brand tone.
- Repurpose shoot footage and behind-the-scenes content into short videos for social and ads.
- Update and maintain the blog with SEO-friendly articles, case studies, and guides.
- Liaise with (and DRIVE) our video team to produce marketing assets on schedule.
Lead Nurturing & CRM Management
- Maintain and segment our Hubspot CRM.
- Track leads from download to meeting, ensuring prompt follow-up.
- Qualify inbound leads via email/LinkedIn before passing to the directors.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor KPIs: traffic, conversion rates, ad performance, meeting bookings.
- Produce monthly marketing performance reports with recommendations.
- Implement tracking and ensure data accuracy.
Events & Outreach
- Manage invites, registrations, and follow-ups for networking events.
- Assist with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns, including personalised outreach to top target accounts.
Skills & Experience
Must-have:
- Highly organised – able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- 2–3 years in a marketing role, preferably B2B.
- Strong written skills – able to match our friendly, confident brand voice.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn organic and paid campaigns.
- Comfortable with basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express) and video editing software for short social clips.
- Familiarity with SEO basics and landing page optimisation.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in creative industries, video production, or agency environments.
- Knowledge of YouTube marketing and paid social beyond LinkedIn (Meta, TikTok).
- Familiarity with CRM automation and lead scoring.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
